EPSOM PLAYHOUSE CELEBRATES 30 YEARS
The Epsom Playhouse celebrated 30 years of entertainment on Sunday (31 August) with an Open Day giving people a rare chance to see behind the scenes.
Backstage tours were held throughout the day and showed a capacity audience an unusual view of the vibrant local theatre. Michael Armstrong and Lisa Davies performed in the foyer, Pull The Other Theatre Education put on children’s workshops and Chris Wood amazed visitors with close up magic.
Epsom Players, Epsom Light Opera, EDFAS, Youth Theatre Workshop, Epsom Recorded Music Society and Epsom Literary Society gave visitors an insight into their organisations and the Box Office offered flash sale ticket discounts on the day.
