A popular television scientist is running the London Marathon for a children’s charity in Tadworth.
Dr James Logan, 33, who presents on Channel 4’s Embarrassing Bodies and Live from the Clinic, is aiming to complete his first marathon in four hours and raise money for The Children’s Trust Tadworth.
He is also appealing to runners, who have secured a place in the marathon but have no charity to run for, to join him in the Trust’s team.
The Children’s Trust provides specialist care to some of the UK’s most severely disabled children and rehabilitation to children with an acquired brain injury.
There is no set sponsorship for own-place runners.
