It was around 4:30 pm on Saturday just off Fir Tree when the sky went really really black. And wow did that wind hit us.
In over 20 years living here – items which had never been touched before were being pushed along by the ferocious wind. Trees bent double and the noise…
OK quite exciting when you’re looking out from indoors and no permanent damage for us – but I’m sure that a lot of people were badly affected.
