Thousands of women ignored the dire weather forecast on Sunday and turned out to run 5km to help the battle against cancer.
More than 4,600 women and girls walked, jogged or ran the Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life at Epsom Downs Racecourse.
Despite terrible weather beforehand, the event was a big success.
The race’s organiser, Liz Frisby, said: "The day started very blustery and rainy but then the sun came out and it didn’t rain during the event at all.
"We had more people taking part than last year and the atmosphere was brilliant - such a good spirit.
"The rain came back just as the event was ending so we got a good drenching as we cleared up but that didn’t matter.
"The women and girls of Epsom did us proud and have made a huge contribution towards our target of beating cancer."
