The new face, or faces, of Epsom station were revealed by developers this week.
A new ticket office and ticket machines have opened, alongside a new station concourse and decorated subway.
But these are just the first elements of a radical new look for the station used by thousands of people each day.
As part of the planning agreement for the development with Epsom and Ewell Council, developers Solum Regeneration agreed to incorporate public art chosen from a competition of students at the University for the Creative Arts in Epsom (UCA).
The winner, Nick Jameson, has developed a concept called The People of Epsom which uses a stylised likeness of local people and their tributes to the community.
Mr Jameson, who graduated with a Graphic Design degree from UCA in 2011, ran a stand in Epsom town centre last year giving residents the chance to sign up to his project.
His pieces, capturing a number of different faces representing Epsom, will adorn the outside of the station.
