Tickets for the Olympic Games road cycling races, which will loop Box Hill and head into Reigate and Banstead borough in July, will go on sale this month.
The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) announced last week that the tickets, which will include the Box Hill circuit races and the Cycling Individual Time Trial at Hampton Court Palace, will go on sale from Tuesday, May 29.
LOCOG made the announcement after confirming that 900,000 Olympics contingency tickets would be going on sale from last Friday (May 11).
It added the Surrey cycling race events tickets would be among new tickets to go on sale from May 29.
But Surrey Police immediately warned people to use only the official London 2012 website to buy tickets.
The official place to apply for tickets is through the London 2012 ticketing website at: www.tickets.london2012.com People can also apply with a paper application form within the official ticketing guide and application form from any Lloyds TSB branch.
