Thursday November 24th 5:30pm
Councillor Sheila Carlson has the honour of switching on the Christmas Tree Lights in Epsom.
The ceremony – in front of the Clock Tower in the Market Place – will also see the Clock Tower itself light up for the first time in many years.
To really get us in the Christmas mood – the mayor will also be opening a Traditional German Christmas market – which will be in the town until 24th December.
Lots of ‘festive treats’ including mulled wine – mince pies – and delightful handmade jewellery and gifts in the market.
As a special treat – members of the cast of ’Santa Clause and the Christmas Adventure’ showing at Epsom Playhouse – will be joining in the celebrations.
Our local shopping centre The Ashley Centre – have kindly donated the tree and lights – and the managers of The Rainbow Leisure Centre have enabled the Clock Tower to be lit up again.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas……….
We love the great local businesses and community
