Part time  – 25 hours per week

Salary  – Between £17,361 and £18,750 per annum (equivalent to   £25,000 - £27,000 full time)

Based in Surrey

This role was created to help develop, support and coordinate a new Independent Mental Health Network in Surrey and North East Hampshire for people who have experienced mental ill health and carers. The aim of the Network is to strengthen the voice and influence of people with mental ill health and carers over the commissioning and provision of mental health services to improve outcome for people.

The role:

To support the Network Coordinating Group in developing the new Network, proactively reaching out to involve more people using creative communication methods, and coordinating Network activities to ensure people’s voices are heard and acted upon.

The person:

To succeed in this role you should have some experience and knowledge of involvement with people who have mental ill health or carers. You will understand the value of user involvement and be a champion for the Network. You will be a good communicator and a natural networker as well as having strong skills in project management, administration and use of new technologies.
