Surrey Lifelong Learning Partnership is a charity working to support Surrey residents into sustainable employment and work-related learning. The importance of providing this local support continues to grow with rising unemployment levels. 

We are setting up an Employment and Skills Hub in the Mole Valley area, for which we are seeking a Recruitment Agent to join our small friendly team. The individual we seek has recruitment agency and business outreach experience; is self-motivated, tenacious and proactive and above all is seeking to support people to succeed in employment. The individual will have a strong interest in and commitment to social inclusion, equality and diversity. 

The person who joins us will work as part of the Hub team. Their primary role, within the team, will be to engage local businesses in working with the Hub to recruit staff and to carry out all processes and procedures required for successful recruitment outcomes. A full job description is available on request. In brief, duties will include, but not be limited to: 

• Contact local businesses; build and maintain relationships; facilitate direct candidate applications and successful recruitment outcomes
• Proactive client, candidate and colleague liaison
• Effective and timely record keeping; reporting and administration
• Raise awareness of, promote and facilitate client and candidate take up of schemes such as Apprenticeships; Traineeships; Kickstart; Access to Work; Work Trials

In addition to the above, the ideal candidate will possess:

Essential:

• A strong and proven track record in successful networking, client contact calling, recruiting and/or client development
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong ability to meet regular reporting deadlines
• Ability to work effectively in a multi practitioner team
• Willing to work virtually and to travel to 3 Mole Valley locations

 Desirable:

• Additional experience of recruiting for Apprenticeships; Traineeships
• Experience of supporting individuals with additional needs into sustainable employment 

Terms and Conditions:

Salary £25,000 p.a.

The post is full time and will initially be for 12 months.

Job share and/or flexible working hours will be considered.

Location: Working virtually and, once Covid guidelines permit, in 3 locations across Mole Valley District, Surrey.
