Organisers of Britain’s biggest charity book fair are looking for volunteers to help at next year’s event.
Now in its 14th year, the annual fair is held at Epsom Methodist Church, in Ashley Road, Epsom, during the Spring half term, and will next be held from February 19 to 21, 2015. This year’s event attracted thousands of visitors from all over the country and raised a record £28,000 for good causes - including Action for Children, Zimbabwe Victims Support Fund and the Epsom District Guides’ Little Acres Lodge Fund.
The items for sale include CDs, DVDs and records as well as second-hand books.
Organiser Andrew Jennings said: "We really hope we can smash last year’s record in February but with the huge volume of books we received last year, we are short on people to help sort our donations.
"Please do get in touch if you can spare a few hours of your time between the morning of Wednesday 11 and the afternoon of Wednesday 18 February and help us continue to support these wonderful charities and make 2015 our best fair yet.
"And as always, please do keep us in mind when clearing out your books, CD, DVDs and records."
To volunteer contact Mr Jennings by calling 01372 723 264 or email him on andrew.jennings7@btinternet.com.
