Park Hill Cricket Club
Cricket Club in Epsom & Ewell
Park Hill are a very friendly club who enjoy a good social scene as well as playing cricket.
They offer league cricket on Saturdays and friendly games on Sundays. So whatever level you are at – club player, returning back to game – just starting the game – they have something for you. And if it is the social side of a cricket club you enjoy – come along all are welcome.
Known as Deando – all homes games are played at:
Old Haileyburians R.F.C. 27 Ruxley Lane, Ewell, Surrey KT19 0JB
They have two sides, playing Saturdays and Sundays during the season.
For those cricketers seeking a competitive and challenging match situation, they play League Cricket each Saturday in AJ Sports Division 3.
On Sundays they play social cricket – ideal for any standard – even players new to the game – and they ensure that every member of the team has an equal game.
The Club provides nets all year round – weather permitting.
In the winter Jan- April these are currently held at Ewell castle School, and in the summer at the Deando ground.
Annual Charity Day
2013 saw Parkhill Cricket Club organise their 1st (and they hope the 1st of many) annual charity cricket day. This was a match between the club and the medical staff at the local Headley Court Military Hospital, where they look after so many wounded service personnel, helping them return to work and life after their injuries.
A great fun day – and here’s to this becoming a regular event.
