Banstead Cricket Club
Banstead Cricket Club, formed in 1842, is situated just 200 yards off Banstead High St. The Club’s 2 playing grounds, and fully licensed Clubhouse provide a delightful setting to enjoy watching and playing cricket. We are proud to be a Surrey Cricket Focus Club and to have achieved Club Mark Accreditation. This homely Club is committed to providing coaching, development and playing opportunities for cricketers of all ages and abilities.
Banstead Cricket Club operate 4 adult league sides on a Saturday and a further 4 sides on Sundays. With an active Junior Section providing playing opportunities for our 200 plus Colts from Under 8 to Under 17 the Club provides a comprehensive range of activity to enable any cricket enthusiast to pursue their cricketing aspirations.
The Front ground which is overlooked by the Old Pavilion and Clubhouse is the home ground for our 1st and 2nd XI sides on a Saturday. The Rosehill Ground situated behind the front ground is the main venue for the 3rd and 4th XI Saturday teams. Both grounds host adult and colts cricket on a Sunday.
The Club has an active social programme run mainly from our terraced Clubhouse, a fully licensed facility equipped with Sky TV. The Club operates a full catering service on match days for players, members and their guests. The Clubhouse is available for private hire for members.
