My Time For Young Carers supports the young people who spend much of their time caring for family members. They offer them the opportunity to meet others like them and also have some fun time - just for them.

There are many children who spend much of their time caring for family members. These kids often spend long hours supporting their families. This can mean they often miss out on time with their friends – outings and other social events which people of their age would normally be involved with.

My Time For Young Carers was established to offer respite activities and support for young people and children in Surrey and the surrounding areas.

They currently have clubs established in Epsom, Stoneleigh, Dorking and Fetcham –expect to see more as this charity becomes established.

So if you are a young carer (or know someone who is) and you would like to meet other young carers – get in contact.

But as with any charity they also need helpers – volunteers who can give time and support to these worthy youngsters. If you would like to help – get in contact.

Perhaps you cannot give time to help but would like to support the charity by donating funds – get in touch.

This is a very worthwhile charity helping people who are perhaps missing some of their childhood by their dedication in helping their family.

Epsom & Ewell MP Chris Grayling believes in them – and My Time For Young Carers is his chosen charity for 2015.
