Have you ever wondered what it would be like to travel back two thousand years in time, to when the whole known world was ruled by the mighty Roman Empire?
Have you ever wondered how their food tasted, the feel of wearing their clothes, what their language sounded like, and the look—and smell! of their buildings?
A visit from the Butser IX Legion will bring the Roman world alive for you. Find out what a Roman schoolchild had to learn, try on Roman armour, and if you are tough enough, undergo Roman army training
orders in Latin – we will teach you!.
