Hedgehog carers need in Evesham
1st July 2011

Hello from a busy Vale Wildlife Hospital

Do we have any potential hedgehog carers out there?
If so, you may be interested in attending our course 'Basic Hedgehog First Aid, Care & Rehabilitation', a joint initiative between us and the British Hedgehog Presevation Society.

Hedgehog numbers are in drastic decline for a variety of reasons & the more people that get involved in looking after sick & injured animals the better.

There is a good site here www.hedgehogstreet.org which gives loads of information about hedgehogs and how you can help them in your area.

Our course is a taster day for anyone who is considering becoming a hedgehog carer (and for those already involved) and we are always available at any time for help and support if you decide to go ahead and take in hedgehogs in need.

There are still some places left on the course scheduled for Sunday 24 July, places should be booked through the BHPS by ringing them on 01584 890801. Places cost just £50 for the day which includes the course booklet, a certificate and tea, coffee etc (you will need to bring a packed lunch).

If you have any further questions please email or ring me.
