Is a Franchise of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) and is one of 6 centres in the UK and over 50 World Wide.
Andy Summers and his family have run the experience centre since 2001 when Andy was first approached by JLR to establish the first UK centre.
Prior to this Andy and his family had been running a Dairy Farm and the proposal from JLR would involve converting the farm buildings which dated back to 1897 and selling his Diary herd, thus starting a whole new way of life for this family. On 9/11 2001, a day which will have many different memories was the day Andy’s cows left the farm and the Land Rover Journey began.
The Business has grown and grown over the years from 1 man and 1 vehicle to the current fleet of 12 brand new Land Rover and Range Rovers and employing 20 staff, part and full time.
In 2013 the centre was named “Global Experience Centre of the year” which was a real honour. To be ranked number 1 in the world is quite an achievement for a Devon based business.
Three generations of the Summers family are all actively involved in the business with Paul Siely managing the day to day operations for Andy.
Paul is responsible for ensuring all the guests attending the centre receive the highest levels of service and go away with a memorable experience.
Paul can often been seen at local networking events where one of his roles is to increase awareness of the many activities available at Land Rover Experience, from booking the on site conference room to team building events and Corporate days out. They even offer a VIP transfer service and Wedding Cars!
