Infrared panel heaters are very slim, sitting in total about 4cm deep from the wall, there are no lights or switches, no fans or noise, the panel simply becomes hot, hot enough to give off a wavelength of infrared, a warmth you can feel on your skin, a warmth which also warms objects around you like the walls , floor and furniture, these objects then also give off heat, creating a cosy atmosphere, all this warmth then heats the air, and the air stays warm for longer because it is not being chilled, and you feel cosy.
Infrared heating is the modern electric way to heat your home, rather than storage heaters or radiators, infrared is far more energy efficient and controllable and is becoming the preferred choice of many energy consultants, home builders and large businesses here in the UK.

People living close to the River Exe in Topsham and any other parts of Exeter that are at risk of flooding from tidal waters are being warned to protect their properties from an expected tidal surge tomorrow morning (Friday 3 January).
The Fire Brigades Union is to strike tomorrow (3 January 2014) in a dispute with the Government over pension reforms from 06:30am – 08:30am.
