. Jacqueline was secretary of Kingsbridge Show for many years before moving to Exeter so already had a good idea of what she was letting herself in for! She has worked in schools for over 25 years covering all aspects of administration as a Business Manager.
She says: Hopefully my past experience and administrative background will set me in good stead as I take on this exciting new role. The committee and members of the Show have been so welcoming and helpful. There are so many tasks to be done, some beginning way before the show even starts to take shape and the volunteers and supporters work tirelessly – all for the same purpose – to make the show a great success and a wonderful day out for livestock exhibitors, traders and visitors alike. The Show is in their blood – it is a way of life – and I couldn’t do my job without their support and dedication.
I am really looking forward to working with everyone and taking the show from strength to strength, especially now that we are in our stunning new site at Knightshayes/Chettiscombe, Tiverton, with kind permission of the National Trust.
