Glorious sunshine greeted the walkers of all ages as they set off from Biction College through The Bicton Arboretum, along the six mile planned walk towards Colaton Raleigh Common , The East Devon Way and the beautiful East Devon Countryside.

The event organised by the Rotary Club of Exmouth & District for the Avocet Learning Trust was sponsored by W2 Estates and the money raised will go towards the trust's plan's to build a new Educational Centre for vulnerable children in the community.

A spokesman for the Rotary Club wished to thank the Innerwheel for their support with refreshments and to Bicton College and the Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust for their co-operation and support.
