Free car parking after 3pm in Falkirk Town Centre will be trialled from January 2014 in a drive to encourage more visitors to the town centre and support local businesses. 'Free after Three' will see a trial until December 2014 apply to all of Falkirk Council's town centre car parks with a view to extending the period if it is successful. Users of the pay and display car parks in Falkirk town centre will not need to pay the normal car parking charge after 3pm. A survey of retailers, undertaken by Falkirk Delivers, will be conducted as the scheme is rolled out to assess its impact. The car parks included in the scheme are Kemper Avenue,Garrison Place(East) & (West), Meeks Road, Melville Street, Weir Street and Williamson Street.
