A trip to Birdworld is so much more than just a day out with the kids. Situated on the outskirts of Farnham, the 26 acre landscaped park is home to hundreds of unusual birds from around the world, as well as a fabulous farm and aquarium. It's a fun learning experience with many hands-on activities and seasonal events - no two visits are ever the same!
Birdworld's busy schedule of daily events include informative keeper talks and feeds, amazing shows and an outdoor flying display. And, as if that's not enough to keep you entertained... in addition to the stunning collection of birds, check out the piranhas and crocodiles in Underwater World, stroll through Jenny Wren farm and pet creatures great and small or discover the bits you've missed as you travel on the safari train. Numerous catering outlets will keep hunger at bay or pack a picnic, there is plenty of space to relax and marvel at the wonderful surroundings.
Birdworld celebrated the last few weeks of the Summer holidays with activities galore. Visitors joined the Mad Hatter and his friends for their annual tea party, watched a film crew from Surrey TV broadcast from the park and received autographs from super singer/songwriter Emma Stevens. Summer 2014 at Birdworld has been so much fun even the birds joined in with the singing and dancing!
Treat Someone Special
P...P...P...Pick up a penguin! No of cause you can't just walk off with one but you can book an experience to get close and personal to these lovable creatures. What a truly memorable gift for a child! Birdworld offers lots of unusual treats – how would you like to hold an owl or can anything be cooler than being a keeper for the day?
Half Term Halloween
From Monday 27th to Friday 31st October the Birdworld park will be going Halloween mad. Full of surprises, witches and wizards, a spooky grotto and scary trail, watch your children's delight as they spot unusual visitors to the enclosures and get creative with Halloween crafts.
