Not only will there be a wide variety of plants on sale, but there will also be buy-one-get-one-free, with the cheaper of the two free at Phyllis Tuckwell’s Plant Sale, which will take place on Sunday 6th October, from 10am-1pm at the Hospice on Waverley Lane in Farnham.
Plant sales are held by Phyllis Tuckwell on the first Sunday of every month, from April to October, to raise money to fund the supportive and end of life care which it offers to local people who are living with an advanced or terminal illness, such as cancer. Over the years its stock of plants has grown and it now has a huge variety on sale. From bedding plants and trailing flowers, to larger shrubs, vegetable plants and even trees, there is a vast array, and all at much cheaper prices than in the shops. Phyllis Tuckwell’s volunteers will also be on hand at the sale and can offer general advice.
In addition to these monthly sales, plants are available to browse and buy every day at the Hospice. Come along on a day which is convenient for you and look through the wonderful display at your leisure. All plants are marked with their prices, so just choose your favourites and take them to the Hospice reception to pay.
