Starting at 12pm, the most adventurous souls can try out the 'world-famous' custard slide, slippery sloppy jelly wellies obstacle course, and the gunky baked bean catapult. Or for a more chilled Sunday afternoon experience why not wind down with a massage or pick a song from the Kidsfest team's 'acoustic jukebox'.
The event will also showcase the culmination of the Kids Got Talent audition process - this is the last chance to bring along your talent, perform on stage and record it to go straight onto YouTube! Not just for singers but anyone with a funny joke, silly or sensible skill (how bendy/stretchy are you for example...?!), or a musical instrument talent.
From 7pm, the adults can take over completely to find out 'How Low Can You Go?' with extreme eating challenges, a game of blind date and the chance to rummage in a very special dressing up chest. There will be also be a raffle to win fantastic prizes including a trip in a hot air balloon!
Kidsfest is the festival designed by children, for children, in a race against time to raise funds to save Farnham’s local Bishop’s Meadow from development. Taking place on the 30-acre meadow in Farnham from 9 -11 September, it will be filled with countless brilliant and crazy activities which only children could think up…from the ‘world-famous’ custard slide, the jelly welly obstacle course and lego-infested tent to punk choir, joke workshops and foot wrestling.
Book now online at www.kidsfestuk.org.uk - £7.25 event ticket (12-6pm) which includes all 101+ activities – and under-5s go free. You can also buy tickets in person at Archie’s Launchpad, Carlino Kids and Curves in Farnham - as well as at The Mulberry this Sunday!
KIDSFEST VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - enthusiastic fun-loving volunteers wanted of all ages to give a few hours on the weekend of 9-11 Sept! Please contact kidsfestpr@gmail..com for more information on volunteering, as well as sponsorship opportunities.
