Reach for the Sky for Hospice Care!

If you like the sound of a full-on adrenaline rush, followed by a gentle descent to earth on the end of a parachute, then why not sign up for one of Phyllis Tuckwell’s skydives - and support your local Hospice Care charity at the same time as fulfilling a dream?

The skydives will take place on Friday 25th and Sunday 27th September and will follow in the footsteps of two which the Hospice Care charity held earlier this year, which between them raised over £22,000 to help support and care for patients and families facing a serious progressive illness, such as cancer or Motor Neurone Disease.

Every day, Phyllis Tuckwell staff and volunteers support over 250 patients and relatives, through a mix of medical care, nursing, therapies, counselling, social work and practical support. However, as the NHS/Government only covers 20% of its costs, the charity has to raise over £15,000 a day to be able to do this, and therefore relies heavily on fundraising events such as these skydives.

Organised and run by the Army Parachute Association, both skydives will take place at the Airfield Camp at Netheravon, in Wiltshire - so rest assured you’ll be in safe hands! All you need to do is pay a £50 registration fee and raise a minimum of £450 sponsorship. And then relax and enjoy the view!
