The Steve Sebburn Story was held at Bourne Wood Manor, West Street, Farnham GU9 7AP, on Thursday 18th July.
Doctors told Army veteran Lance Corporal Steve ‘Seb’ Sebburn that he would never run or cycle again as a result of back and brain injuries after a tragic accident in Afghanistan.
However, Seb refused to accept that diagnosis and applied for the Invictus Games in Sydney in 2018 winning gold and bronze medals . Seb, competed in cycling and athletics (1500m), and is hoping to return to the Invictus games in 2020 and take part in swimming events.
A truly inspirational story with many highs and lows for him and his family. One of the highest points was spending time with and introducing the GB team to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
