St. Andrew’s C of E Infant School is set in the heart of Farnham, down cobbled streets alongside the parish church of St. Andrew, and having stood since 1860 it is the oldest existing school in Farnham.
The school offers a nurturing environment for children to begin their education with a maximum of 90 pupils, and with St. Andrew’s having recently joined the Good Shepherd Trust in close association with Farnham’s other town centre school, Potters Gate, St. Andrew’s now has a secure onward progression for its pupils.
Children at the school enjoy the best of the facilities that both St. Andrew’s and Potters Gate have to offer, including regular use of the church itself, trips to the St.Andrew’s allotment just a short trek through the Bishops Meadow away, visits to Potters Gate’s Forest School and playing fields, and all manner of involvement with events in the local community such as the Farnham Carnival and the Farnham Charity Bike Ride which was originally set up by parents of St.Andrew’s children and still provides a generous donation to the school’s PTA fund every year.
