Curry cravings cured at the Bombay Brasserie

I will confess, I couldn't be bothered cooking last night and my thoughts turned to a takeaway or meal out.  I really wanted Indian food so after much stamping of feet and pursed lips discussion we decided that we would give the Bombay Brasserie at Duloch a try.

Now, I've been to the Bombay Brasserie before and the service was great but the food didn't blow me away.  However we had heard that they have a new chef who has worked in many of the top Indian restaurants so had to give it a try.  Last night I felt that the mix was right, the service was still great, nice and friendly but not too in your face and the food was delicious!  I had Monkfish & King Prawn Piri Piri and it was to die for, the sauce was tangy and mildly spicy, the fish cooked to perfection, my boys had the kids Chicken Korma which was absolutely divine, I had to try it, my husband had Lamb Bhuna and we shared a lovely light Nan bread.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and I would happily return.  The surroundings are stylish and comfortable, the waiters are friendly and the food is tasty and fresh!  What more can you ask for!
