Under new management since 2014, The Alexandra has comfortable en-suite accommodation available as well as offering a menu of fresh, homemade dishes, live sports, poker nights, pool table, quiz nights, live music, a jukebox and more! 

Our menu is a mix of both British pub classics & traditional Italian food at great value for money so you can enjoy quality cuisine without breaking the bank!

Located just 5 minutes’ walk from the main train station & even less from the town centre, The Alexandra’s welcoming atmosphere & beautiful beer garden, make it the perfect place to meet with friends & family of all ages.

Food

The Alexandra’s gastro pub style food is a mixture of traditional pub classics and Italian dishes, so sausages, beef burger and the pub’s hand-cut skin-on chips sit on the menu alongside carbonara, seafood spaghetti and a range of Italian ice creams.

Alongside the main menu, there is a Chef’s Specials menu which changes on a regular basis in order to provide their customers with fresh, exciting options.

Nadia is committed to supporting local suppliers and the food for the restaurant is sourced almost exclusively from Hampshire, including:

• Meat from Woods Butchers in Farnborough
• Bakery goods from Good Taste, Farnborough
• Fruit and veg from Cheesemans near Guildford
• Ice cream from New Forest Ice Cream in Hampshire
• Fish from KingFisher of Devon

Tempting desserts on offer include, a selection of Italian ice creams and sorbets, home-made chocolate mousse and a seasonal fruit crumble with a muesli top, served with a choice of either custard or ice cream.

Drinks

Sharp’s Doom Bar and Green King IPA are the two regular ales on tap and in order to keep things 

interesting for their customers, the pub has two guest beers which change regularly and may include favourites like Black Sheep, Bombardier and Youngs.

Also on tap, there is a choice of Guinness, John Smiths, Stella Artois, Fosters, Carling & Amstel, plus two draught ciders - Strongbow & Carling Cider. Bottled beers are equally interesting and include the Budweiser, Becks and Desperado. With an extensive selection of wines from Italy, you'll be spoilt for choice.

Entertainment

The Alexandra has a pool table area with a jukebox as well as a big screen showing many of the live sporting events.

They have regular entertainment, including a weekly quiz night and poker night, live music every weekend, monthly brunch bingo and it's musical counter-part: Rock & Roll Bingo. Takeaway/Delivery

The Alexandra Pub also offers a food takeaway/delivery service.
