Hampshire’s hottest new chilli festival is coming! Fleet Chilli Fiesta rockets into town on Saturday 23 September from 10.30am-5pm, where the heat will be on at The Views.
There’ll be plenty of mouth-watering treats including over 60 famous food, drink and street food stalls from around the UK selling all things chilli related, from mild to wild!
Not keen on the hot stuff? Don’t worry! There’ll be plenty of stalls offering a range of products for the more subtle palate.
Fleet Chilli Fiesta will be hosting the grand final of the 2017 UK ChilliCookoff Association National Championships where 11 teams will battle it out to be crowned the winner. Visitors can also take part and judge the 'People's Choice Award' for the best chilli con carne in the UK.
Chilli lovers can test their skills in the Chilli Eating Competition and stallholders will battle it out for the Fiesta’s best chilli sauce in the ‘SaucyShowdown’. Local dancers and musicians will be bringing a Latin flavour to the Fiesta and there’s a Chill Out Zone when visitors need to cool down.
Hot on the heels of the grown-ups, children can head to the Peter Piper Children’s Zone with zorb balls, face painting, bouncy castles and an inflatable assault course to keep them out of mischief.
