The Fleet Business Forum is inviting businesses in central Fleet to the drop in session on Wednesday 15th February from 4pm to 7pm in the Hart Shopping Centre where you can pick up your copy of the BID Business Plan.
You will be able to meet members of the Business Forum, who have been working on the proposal for Fleet to become a Business Improvement District since July 2015, find out what what projects the BID could deliver, ask questions and have your say.
The proposed geographical boundaries of the BID are businesses in the following areas:
Business Improvement Districts have been successfully established in over 260 towns throughout the country and deliver projects over and above those delivered by councils and other service providers.
BIDS are a business-led and business-funded initiative creating sustainable funding to deliver the projects that have been prioritised by businesses in Fleet. The Business Forum believes this is the activity with the potential to make the biggest difference in Fleet and many businesses in the town have already pledged their support.
If the BID ballot is successful, the BID levy will be mandatory for each business located within the BID area so it is important that you come along and have your say.
