‘Fun Day Fridays’ will run on Friday 2, 16 and 30 August in Union Street, and will include a host of activities and attractions for children of all ages. The events are organised by Rushmoor Borough Council.
On 2 August, children can meet birds of prey including a European Eagle Owl, a Peregrine Falcon and a selection of smaller owls. On 16 August, they can feed and pet the ever-popular Dallas Donkeys, while on 30 August they can learn what it takes to be a circus performer with Juggling Jake and his circus skills.
Also on offer at each event will be children’s fairground rides and face painting.
Carla Dale, Town Centre and Cultural Officer at Rushmoor Borough Council, said: “This is the first year that we have held Fun Day Fridays in the town centre, and we hope that as many children as possible take advantage of the free fun during the summer holidays.”
There are plenty of other activities for children to take part in this summer in both Aldershot and Farnborough.
