Hart District Council has gone to consultation on its draft Corporate Plan asking residents for feedback on the Council’s vision and priorities for the next five years.

The draft Hart Corporate Plan sets out 4 key priorities, which are to achieve a thriving local economy, a clean green and safe environment, healthy communities and people, and becoming a more efficient and effective Council. The plan also includes key actions that will be taken to achieve the priorities.

Cllr David Neighbour, Leader of Hart District Council, highlights the importance of the draft Corporate Plan saying: “It provides a focus for our activities and services and will inform decision making and allocation of resources across the Council. I encourage residents to take the time to participate in the consultation as the plan aims to achieve the best outcome for those who live, visit and work in Hart.”

The draft Corporate Plan and how to respond can be found on the Council’s website www.hart.gov.uk/corporate-plan-consultation-2017. The consultation is open until 4pm on 31 October 2017.

The comments received will be used to inform any updates to the draft Corporate Plan before it is presented for approval at Full Council in December 2017.
