Hart District Council Countryside Ranges have added some new facilities at Fleet Pond Local Nature Reserve including five new picnic benches and visitor information boards.
The pcinic benches were designed to showcase the variety of wildlife that can be found within the reserve and were carved by Will Lee who recently won the European chainsaw carving championships. They can be found near the car park off Cove Road and 2 benches have disabled access.
The visitor boards will include a 'sightings board' enabling visitors to note their sights of wildlife seen on their walks.
These improvements reflect the council's commitment to maintaining and improving local open spaces and reserves for the whole community to enjoy.
