A little bit about us to start with:

We are a pest control company based in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire and as well as serving all of the Forest we also provide national coverage on contract.

We work on a 7 day a week basis 52 weeks of the year and in all type of weather; can be cold in the winter Brrr.

We have over 30 years of experience in the post control business ranging between small dwellings to large estates and commercial premises of all types and we cover all pests within the UK ranging from mites through to foxes.
APCS caters for domestic properties and all types of commercial clients; if you have a pest problem we can sort it out for you quickly and efficiently.

Domestic clients are normally treated on a day to bay basis and we do not charge for revisits if any are necessary. Most insects are treated in one session. Rodents are treated until completely free of any infestation.

APCS also provides advice to clients whether commercial or domestic as to how to overcome possible reinfestation of pests.

APCS can provide a “proofing” service, this is where we can either recommend ways of keeping pests out or actually carry out work to keep pests out of properties.

Treatments

Normally with insect treatments we use a spray with a residual base that works for a long period, guaranteeing a quick active measure to insects.
In places such as lofts or cellars we can also use a system called “fogging”, this is where we use a machine to leave a mist spray that hangs in the air and slowly settles to provide a knock down effect for insects and a residual treatment on other surfaces.

For rodents we use safe tamper proof bait boxes to provide a system that keeps people and pets safe. In attics and closed in spaces we may use open trays with bait. Treatments continue untl no more bait is being taken.

We are a service company registered with the National Pest Technicians Association and qualified through the British Pest Control Association and the Royal Society for Public Health.

We carry public liability insurance for £10,000,000 and we are fully insured to use ladders.

Before taking on a pest control company please ensure they have all of the relevant certificates and qualification plus insurances or them to carry out the work otherwise you may not be covered if you have any problems after treatments.

It I advisable to phone or contact several companies to get quotes from and not just rely on the first one you get in touch with.

Bad pest for the next couple of months will be wasps, watch out for them heading onto September when they can get really nasty.

Bed bugs too are on the increase so be careful.
