Fab new shopping experience
hits Forest/Wye Valley region from July 1st!
A new experience awaits you in the main shopping street of Lydney, on the edge of the Forest of Dean. At number 18 Newerne Street, the junction with Regent Street – to be more precise. The prominent high street shop has been transformed into a unique treasure trove and stylish shopping experience –
"Stuff" is the brainchild of three Wye Valley/Forest of Dean based people - George Bearwood, Alan Crabbe (aka The Man in Black) and Martin Davies .
Stuff will be stocking George’s art deco to post modern ceramics, furniture, jewellery, art and decorative items; Martin’s fantastic range of collectables and memorabilia; and Alan’s Man In Black Unlimited business - music and film (CDs, vinyl, DVD, books, memorabilia etc) covering virtually every genre.
In addition the shop is an outlet for many other specialist dealers (“stuff associates”) – offering a diverse mix including jewellery, ceramics, militaria, local history, art/prints and various other collectables/memorabilia.
Stuff will also stock selected work from the world-renowned local ceramic artist, Mary Rose Young.
This large new store with a difference covers two floors crammed with an eclectic range that should appeal to local shoppers, visitors, tourists and specialist collectors.
The place to buy one-of-a-kind gifts, decorative items, the unusual, the interesting.
Want to add stylish touches to your home ? Ceramics, furniture, a lamp ?
Or perhaps a book, a record, a movie, a CD – want to discover new music or re-discover old ?.
Collect jewellery ? medals ? local history ? toys ? gum cards ? classic advertising ?
“stuff will also be a venue for events such as signings, specialist themed sales and events – together with ever-changing stock and displays. We want it to be a fun, interesting place to visit”.
To coincide with the opening there is a prize draw for customers in the first few weeks, with the opportunity to win a £100.00 stuff voucher.
There is also a loyalty scheme (“stuffdiscount”) designed to reward regular customers.
The business is scheduled to open at 10.00am on Thursday 1st July with a formal launch
