Winter really has set in over the past few weeks here in the Forest of Dean and that old Jack Frost is paying a visit just about every day....in fact he's sticking around pretty much all day too!
Now don't get me wrong I prefer a good frosty morning, well at least better than the rain anyway, but this year is so god damn cold its a job and a half just to keep warm. Mind you I also think my old three bed semi was easier to heat than the cottage we've moved into!
But without doubt it's colder than most recent winters. The snow and frost has even lifted some of my signwriting on the Bestof car and placed them all over the vehicle! So it looks like trip over to local signwriters Designer Signs for me. To be honest I need to see them about signwriting the Bestof Chepstow on the car anyway so I guess they'll repair my existing Forest of Dean stuff at the same time.

Anyway, this cold spell is set to continue for a while, so its thick socks and even a vest! (havn't worn one of those for many years)....even bought a new scarf. Oh yeah and we bought an electric blanket which is so bloody good it makes me wonder why we've never bought one before.
