Outstanding Local Business Gets Recognised

One of our many outstanding local businesses and Best Of member Walford Timber has been recognised as it fully deserves by reaching the final of the recent Herefordshire Diamond County Award. The award is designed to recognise companies that 'Go the Extra Mile'. Well we have known this for quite sometime, go to Walford Timber's Feature and testimonials on this very site and you will see what we mean. So we are personally delighted that such qualities are recognised by way of such awards. The award also takes into account how the business engages with local community groups and projects. Managing Director George Smith spoke of his joy at reaching the final four, he says "I'm delighted to have been nominated and short listed for this prestigious award, we have been very lucky to have been involved with some great groups and projects over the years and have taken a great deal of enjoyment and satisfaction from getting involved with them". He also expressed his thanks to Walford Primary School for nomination his business. Well done George and Walford Timber !
