Where have all the wild boar gone in the Forest of Dean? Havn't seen any for ages....I suppose they must be around still, but in other parts of the Forest. I'm sure I heard someone say marksmen were being hired to shoot them. Is this true?
One particular boar, a huge male used to visit Forest road in Bream when we lived there. I had to chase him out of the garden many a time. He seemed quite friendly though, infact you could stroke him if you were careful and had some food of course. But he disapeared long before we left there.
So I guess they move around quite a lot and although I havn't seen any for a while, they must be visiting other locations around the Forest. Anyone seen any lately? and...are they gonna be shot.....and would that be a good thing or a shame.....I'll think it'll be a shame.
