The Forest Of Dean Sea Cadets are based in Naas Lane, Lydney, we cover the whole of the Forest Of Dean Area. We have around 40 cadets aged between 10-17years old, our aim is to help young people towards responsible adulthood by encouraging valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct using a nautical theme based on the customs of the Royal Navy.\r\r Through adventurous activities Cadets become self reliant, and through team work Cadets develop consideration and respect for others. The Corps encourages high personal standards and a sense of purpose, and provides a sound foundation for future Careers.\r\r Our Mission statement\r\rWe aim to encourage young people in achieving their full physical, social and intellectual potential. \r\rEnsuring all feel valued and supported by providing them with valuable life skills. Striving to deliver the best opportunities in a challenging, stimulating and supportive nautical themed training environment.\r\r
