And don't the lights look pretty? Not half bad for Grantham Town and a year of recession. I think the blue lights in the trees outside The Guildhall are quite classy.
There appeared to be quite a few of us at 4.00pm and infact there was a line of police keeping the crowds back from the tents where all the singing was going on. A member of GEG (Grantham Events Group) said the the footfall throughout the day had been good.
My mum bought some ear-rings from the crafts fair and my daughter saw Santa and the Snow Cats. Bumped into my neighbours, friends, Cat and Suzy and a few clients and it all felt very cheery and Christmassy.
