Last minute Christmas Shopping in Grantham
15th December 2010
... Comments

This is the time of year I could start hyperventilating with all the balls that need to be juggled  - many of which naturally get dropped. As well as Christmas gifts I am shopping for the blokes birthday which gets increasingly demanding the older he gets (surely it should be the other way round!). My inbox is deluged with links leading to ‘helpful’ boy pressie suggestions, which need to be ordered in an organised and military fashion before the post becomes sporadic at the busiest time of the year. Then of course there is the end of school term and as Nats is going to ‘big’ school next year I want to make the most of carols in The George Centre and Belvoir Castle, nativity plays and important netball matches. And we have a new ‘rescue home’ puppy who wants eternal attention and affection or he will systematically destroy everything in the immediate hemisphere.

Anyway here are some ideas

  • Downtown Superstore, Store of Wonder, is an obvious choice with everything under one roof from electrical to fashion and gifts for all the family. Downtown Grantham also have a great sale, up to 50%,  on all electrical and furniture at the moment.
  • Empire Designerwear is ideal for my bloke and 6ft 2 stepson. Fashionable and unbeatable prices on designer clothes for men and women. Chad has some great reviews and is a real favourite locally.
  • Design Works on the London Road has some fantastic Christmas presents and decorations in stock now. The shop has a wide selection of fabrics to rival any design company in the Grantham and Newark area. Exciting new wall paper designs are coming through for winter and into 2011 including Sanderson, Romo,  Harlequin, Cole and Son  with paint colour matching available including Farrow and Ball’s popular range.
  • Bestofgrantham beauty salons will all have vouchers for luscious treatments – a great gift for your partner, male and female. Contact Enhance, UK Hair and Holistics, The Grantham Beauty Clinic
  • Springfields Outlet Shopping –  Gap, Animal, Marks & Spencer, Tula, Game, Klass, Hallmark, Skechers, Thorntons -  a wide choice of shops with discounted prices.
  • EMSL - Grantham's best musical shop is running the Take It Away Scheme, a government run scheme, which allows any musical instrument purchase to be paid over 10 months interest Free!! Great timing for all those musical presents
