Marks and Spencer is building on the success of its M&S Outlet at Springfields Outlet Shopping and Festival Gardens in Spalding, Lincolnshire, by expanding it’s non food element by 30%.

This latest expansion will see the store grow by 2,500 sq ft and shop fitting is underway ahead of the opening for the August Bank Holiday weekend.

The expansion means the M&S Outlet will be stocking more Per Una brand clothing, underwear and homewares – all discounted from the high street price.
The M&S Outlet at Springfields has traded with the highest year on year growth out of all of the factory outlet stores in the UK – a fantastic result for Spalding.

This isn’t the first time success has led to M&S expanding – back in 2008, the M&S Outlet expanded by an extra 3,284 sq ft and by opening a M & S Café.

Ian Sanderson, Springfields Centre Director said: “To have a further vote of confidence from the schemes anchor tenant in this current economic climate is good for visitors and the area.”
