Take him to the pub and treat him to a great meal so long as it doesn't clash with the footie although most pubs will be screening the important games:

  • The Peacock at Redmile ia looking after Fathers on Sunday. Located in the Vale of Belvoir, this is a lovely short drive out of Grantham (short being the operative word!) and a beautiful, traditional pub which will please most men
  • The Tally Ho at Aswarby. Again a traditional pub serving real ales; a great atmosphere run by the well-know John Blenkiron. Read all those testimonials
  • The Red Lion at Caythorpe is highly recommended by friends of mine that live in the village and gives a warm welcome to anyone who walks through the doors. Fabulous local pub.
  • The Hare and Hounds at Fulbeck offers a wide-range of home cooking - The Lincolnshire Echo's 'Food Monster' critic has given them a 5-Star review!
  • The Cross Swords Inn -  a great local pub in the pretty village of Skillington serving fresh food using local produce. The pub also caters for separate B & B accommodation in a delightful 3 bedroom cottage at the top of the courtyard.
  • The New Inn - Take a trip out of Grantham to the pretty village of Folkingham and have a pint in front of the wood burner and enjoy some home-made cooking
