"The theme for the competition was Fantasy Masquerade and with the help of her model Tash she was able to create this unique and imaginative look. Szandra originally from Hungry has not entered any competitions since living in the UK, so for her to enter and win is absolutely fantastic!! Sandra is very passionate about make up and will be looking for more competitions to enter next year. She has worked with bridal parties in creating their ideal look for their wedding day, although perhaps not as imaginative as her model The competition had a panel of judges, one being make up artist to celebrities Gary Cockerill, he was there to present the award to Szandra. I asked Szandra about her experience and here is what she said ‘ I was so nervous when I arrived especially seeing all the people that would be taking part. I didn’t think I would come close to winning, so to win was an fantastic feeling. It is quite a stressful situation having not one but several people watching you for such a long time, there is no room for mistakes. My model was great and so patient sitting still for so long. I was very pleased with my finished look and the judges must have been too" (Charlotte Auckland)
