In need of some TLC. Room had some cheap fittings, wasn’t the cleanest and generally felt neglected.
Spa area also pretty rundown, felt very dated and not luxury.
Careful with booking the ‘Gourmet Escape’ - we weren’t told where it would be, asked, was shown to brasserie and then had to also ask how it worked. No one really knew what the prepaid 3 course dinner was. Proceeded to be handed a tennerfest menu (cheaper) which would have made us out of pocket by pre booking.
Manage to rectify on check out at reception and staff generally helpful.
Great location in town and good breakfast but ultimately not a 5* hotel.
