The GP Homelife Show 2017 hosted at Beau Sejour Leisure Centre was attended by many exhibitors including thebestof Guernsey and several of our business members.
GP Homelife Show 2017 took place over the second weekend in November and showcased all aspects of home and lifestyle products and services, giving exhibitors a chance to promote their businesses to the five thousand visitors to the show. On display were home decor and other interior ideas, garden fittings such as water features, communications technology and gadgets, health and beauty products and luxuries.
Julie Settle, Show Director, from EC Events Ltd (part of Guiton Publishing) commented "The show was a great success for all the exhibitors with many sales and leads taken. Promoting products and services face to face is something that works so well with this GP Homelife show. The general public really enjoyed the Pavillion Stage Kitchen demonstrations and all the fun activities."
Business member of thebestof Guernsey, Guernsey Electricity, had a free to visit stand in the concourse showing off their wide range of services. Fellow business member, Pavillion Kitchens & Bedrooms, were the sponsors of the centrepiece feature of the show, the Stage Kitchen, where well known local chefs cooked up a storm throughout the event. Business members Specsavers, DWA, Body & Sole, Graham Scott & Co, La Grande Mare Hotel, The OGH, The Duke of Richmond Hotel and La Reunion were also exhibitors at the event.
In the words of our very own Rick de Garis: "It was a very successful show for us and our business members. We gave away almost 1,000 of our bags containing our leaflets, business cards and freebies."
thebestof Guernsey ran a competition at the event and Nicole Le Page was picked out at random from 603 entries to win a £100 voucher that she could spend with any of our business members. Nicole was very surprised to win, saying that this is the first thing that she has won in ages. Nicole has decided to spend her £100 at Bucktrouts, which is the perfect choice just in time for the Christmas festivities. Congratulations Nicole!
