Every year thebestof Guernsey hold a summer social for our business members to socialise with each other, and this year's bash in Herm was a fantastic evening, enjoyed by all.
The evening, at the end of July at the Mermaid Tavern on Herm, was attended by a wide range of business members of thebestof Guernsey. Good food and drink was enjoyed by those present, including a buffet that featured delicious paella, curry, fajitas and other treats from around the world.
In our Guess the Logo quiz the members formed into teams and competed to guess which logos belonged to other member businesses. The winner of the quiz was a team named Red Electric, formed by the staff of Red Carnation Group and Guernsey Electricity, who correctly guessed 27 of the 28 logos in the quiz. Well done, guys!
There was also a charity auction in aid of The HUB featuring the superb prize of three nights in a Herm holiday cottage, kindly donated by Jonathan Watson, the CEO of Herm Island. The auction was won by Mim Sarre from Marett Floorcraft at DWA, with the highest bid of £300. Have a great Herm break, Mim!
