This year the Donkey Derby will be taking place on Saturday 17th August 2024 from Midday until 8pm at Saumarez Park.
Event Highlights:
Donkey Races - Races starting at 1:00 PM and running throughout the afternoon until 4:30 PM. Cheer on your favourite donkey and experience the thrill of the race!
Donkey Rides - Enjoy a gentle ride on a donkey, perfect for smaller children.
Tote Tent - Place your bets on the races and add to the excitement with a little flutter.
Stalls - Explore a variety of stalls hosted by Lions, other local charities and traders. Find unique items and support good causes.
Refreshments - Visit the food village and the beer tent, complete with a licensed bar to quench your thirst.
Live Music and Bands - After the races, stay for an evening of music and live bands from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Dance, relax, and enjoy the festive atmosphere as the sun sets.

Parking - £5 per car.
