This spot has a lovely view of the sea whilst you eat your food, the service is amazing and all waiters/waitresses were so welcoming to everyone and helped us pick out any part of our meals. Very family-friendly.

Took my wife to Saltwater for a Birthday lunch.
Wonderfully clean restaurant with great service.
My Chicken Caesar Salad was delicious with a very tasty dressing and well balanced. best Caesar salad I have ever had.
My wife likes to have Fish & Chips when she can and then compare various restaurants. She said these fish & chips at Saltwater rank in her top 3 and were delicious. Three problems however (but still a 5 star score). Saltwater or their Chef has succumbed to the current, annoying trend of placing the fish on top of the chips which then makes the chips soggy. Please put the chips to the side of the fish on a warm plate. Saltwater have beautiful crockery especially the plate that my wife's fish and chips were served on but they ruined the look by putting the fish & chips on mock newspaper. This is a restaurant not a beach side cafe and with high end restaurant prices she did not expect bits of paper on her plate. Unnecessary and off-putting.
lastly the restaurant was very stingy on the chips. There were very few with the fish and chips so we ordered another bowl of chips at the extra cost of £5. There were only 10 chips in this side order (50p a chip) .
These minor irritations did not detract from our overall experience and we will be back but just not ordering chips as what we got was not value for money.

This has new management now and the food and drink was fantastic. Some of the previous menu favourites are still available along with new ones. Service could not have been better- super friendly! Saltwater staff from front of house to the kitchen had obviously focussed on getting things perfect. The Cocktails were some of the best we ever had. The seafood biased menu is not normally my preference as I rather go for meat but every dish was perfect and so tasty. The staff were very busy but coped providing a great service. Well done to Monika and her staff.

We had a great evening at Saltwater, attentive staff and fabulous seafood, what more could you wish for? Clearly well frequented by local people, the terrace overlooking the harbour/marina and the restaurant itself are well presented, clean and characterful with a choice of dishes extending well beyond the normally expected choices. Service was reserved and respectful, with a younger team member being given the opportunity to engage with guests without supervision being unduly close. Weather could have been warmer, but otherwise confidently recommended!
