We stayed here for a week during our holiday. The room was disabled ready with wet room with well thoought out fittings. The staff were very attentive in all areas of the hotel. We only ate once in the terrace bar, but it was hot, fresh and very enjoyable. We had breakfast every day which included full english, various poached eggs and eggs benedict. Continental and serials with the normal juices were also available. The house keeping staff had forgoten to top up the coffee in our room one morning. One quick phone call to house keeping and we had more coffe within minutes. Nothing seemed too much for the staff.
We also used the pool, steam room and sauna. Very well kept and disabled fliendly. The Spa staff were also very good.

Lovely hotel in beautiful Guernsey on the outskirts of the main town.

Slightly disappointed that as part of our booking we had been upgraded to an ‘executive’ room but it’s balcony was tiny and only one person could sit out. The hotel was quiet and there were many rooms with bigger balconies so I asked if we could be moved as I didn’t really feel it was an ‘executive’ room. They declined which I thought was disappointing.

However, we had a lovely stay and very much enjoyed our visits to the beautiful spa and amazing outdoor jacuzzi. We also enjoyed sitting on the bar terrace looking at the beautiful gardens and pond with its friendly ducks.

We did not eat dinner in the hotel as the vegetarian choices were not great and expensive for what they were. We ate in the town, the bus stop was just outside the hotel grounds.

There were quite a lot of workers and businessmen staying there and in the bar at night it was always football on both tv screens which I found annoying.

Also very nice club house on the adjacent golf course and fun crazy golf.

A lovely stay all in all!

Wonderful relaxing hotel. Fantastic attentive staff, good food, clean, what more can we say. Lovely extensive gardens. Conveniently located as we walked into St. Peter Port which was all down hill. Would definitely stay here again.

Another wonderful stay in great hotel, this being our 6th visit. Staff are so friendly and polite. Great choice at breakfast. Rooms are clean and tidy, the beds are so comfortable. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. Pool & Spa really good, pool has set times for children to use in the morning & afternoon.
Only minor gripe the temperature of the pool seemed a little on the cold side. Looking forward to the next stay.

Back after several years and no gig tonight so a little quieter but still good. Food reasonable. £14 for fish and chips so expensive but not too bad. Service was good.

Really nice hot and tasty food at a busy time in the run-up to Christmas. There was 12 of us on a Friday night. The bar was busy but with three groups of over 10 people each. The bar staff and kitchen coped well. Some of the best food I have had on a work do.

Spent a late afternoon and whole evening here on a Saturday in late January. Upon arrival it was fairly quiet, albeit with most seated areas taken for food orders, including a big table for the local football team. The food served was very good, both from what we personally ordered and what one could see being served to others. As we progressed into the evening an impressive band called Tantale set up and performed a commendable gig, despite a tough crowd at times due to the visiting football side and some of their supporters being unnecessarily loutish. The staff managed serving all customers swiftly throughout the evening and were quick to react and appropriately manage a situation created by one local individual which was inevitable from his behaviour upon arrival. Good background music played around the live band's performance and a small dance area exists in front of the stage area. Would recommend a visit if in the vicinity for either a drink and/or something to eat, plus on a Friday or Saturday evening if you like live music, if their January gig guide is anything to go by.

Went to this lively pub on Saturday night, it was very busy with sports fans, but we planned to eat early, and it was well worth it, food was excellent and plenty of it and not overly priced. Fish & Chips were large, and Enchilada's were excellent, nothing else required.

If you haven’t eaten the Sunday Lunch at the Doghouse you are missing out - big time! £10.95 gets you perfectly cooked beef, homemade Yorkshire Puddings, perfectly cooked veg and the MOST sublime gravy. Get there early because the demand is high and you really don’t want to miss out. Well done to Chris and his staff - 10/10 guys!
